Bill Maher called the environment the "ultimate health care issue" Friday night during "Real Time" and argued that our future depends on our ability to stop global warming. But some on his panel weren't so convinced.
Conservative talk radio host Amy Holmes, actor Hill Harper, and former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson weighed in, with Harper being the sole panelist to agree with Maher's assessment. Johnson said he believes in climate change, but that its effects have been greatly exaggerated. While Holmes called herself a skeptic, and argued that the science behind the topic is not settled. She described it as a "raging debate."

Stephen Colbert Rips Karl Rove’s New Book, Compares Rove To A Ham (VIDEO)
Stephen Colbert ruthlessly mocked Karl Rove's new book, "Courage and Consequence," on "The Colbert Report" last night. He started his segment by pulling out a large ham with glasses that looked uncannily like Rove, but the ripping didn't stop there.
Colbert on the title of the book: "It's just like 'Pride and Prejudice,' but even more prejudiced!"

‘In The Neighborhood’: Sleepover At The Neighbors’ (PHOTOS)
As a society, we've become fragmented by ethnicity, income, red state vs. blue; pro-this, anti-that. But we also divide ourselves with invisible dotted lines. I'm talking about the property lines that too often isolate us from the people we are physically closest to: our neighbors.
That thought first occurred to me in the aftermath of a tragedy on my suburban street in Rochester, New York: a man shot and killed his wife, and then himself; their two young children ran screaming into the night. I knew the couple just a little, enough to wave "hello" if I saw them out jogging together. Later, I learned that on the day she was murdered the wife had feared her husband and had tried desperately to contact her best friend to see if she and her children could stay over that night. What she didn't know was that her friend was out of town on a day trip. And so that evening, when her husband got home and began burning their mortgage papers in the fireplace, she had nowhere to go: despite having lived on our street for seven years, she didn't know any of the neighbors well enough to seek shelter at their homes. Within an hour of his return, her husband killed her.

Jon Stewart On Beck’s Massa Interview: Why The Night ‘Wasn’t A Total Loss’ (VIDEO)
On Wednesday night, Jon Stewart made the case for why Glenn Beck's now notorious interview with recently forced out Congressman Eric Massa wasn't a 'total loss.' At the end of the hour with Massa, accused of 'groping' his staffers, Beck declared to the camera, 'America, I'm gonna shoot straight with you. I think I've wasted your time. I have wasted an hour of your time. And I apologize for that.'
Stewart: "It appears that Glenn Beck has come up with his new sign off phrase. His 'Good Night and Good Luck.' Every show he can now end with: 'I think I've wasted an hour of your time. And I apologize for that. See you tomorrow.'"
